- 1990 - 1995 Bachelor of Laws, Ha Noi Law University (Ha Noi, Viet Nam).

- 1997 Started working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam.

- 2008 - 2010 Assistant Director General, Western Boundary Department, National Boundary Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam. 

- 2010 - 2013 Deputy Director General, Western Boundary Department, National Boundary Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam.

- 2013 - 2016 Consul General of Viet Nam in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR.

- 2016 - 2018 Deputy Director General, Western Boundary Department, National Boundary Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam

- 2018 - 2023 Director General, Western Boundary Department, National Boundary Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam.
