Hailing the sector's outstanding achievements and contributions, Party General Secretary To Lam stressed that the Vietnamese diplomatic service is now facing a historic mission. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Embassy of Viet Nam in Sweden (accredited to Latvia) is going to organize the "Viet Nam Festival in Latvia 2025" - the first cultural event of Viet Nam to be held in the Republic of Latvia so far.
Registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam hit over $21.51 billion in the first half of the year, up 32.6% and a record high since 2009, while disbursed capital reached $11.72 billion, up 8.1%.
