From March 30 to April 1, 2025, a delegation from Bac Ninh province led by Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, visited Sweden.

During the working visit, the delegation had a meeting with the Stockholm City Authority and visited the new urban area of Hammarby to learn about Sweden's experience in urban construction and development.¨

Visiting the Embassy of Viet Nam in Sweden, the delegation had a discussion with Ambassador Tran Van Tuan about the situation in Sweden and the Viet Nam - Sweden relationship as well as the Vietnamese community in the country. The delegation expressed their wish for the Vietnamese Embassy to connect and attract more Swedish enterprises to invest in Bac Ninh in the coming time, especially for projects with high science - technology content and environmental friendliness.

In addition, the leaders of Bac Ninh province said they are ready to support Vietnamese science - technology - medical experts in Sweden to exchange experiences, support technology transfer, and test new drugs and medical technologies in the province./.
