On March 21, Ambassador Tran Van Tuan received Mr. Olle Norberg, Director-General of the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF).

Recalling the good impressions when visiting the IRF facility during the working trip to Kiruna City of the Vietnamese Embassy in February 2025, Ambassador Tuan asked Mr. O. Norberg to support connecting the cooperation relationship in the field of space research between the relevant agencies of Viet Nam and Sweden; encourage Lulea University of Technology (LTU) (where he used to work) to have a policy to attract Vietnamese students to study space physics.

Mr. O. Norberg thanked Ambassador Tran Van Tuan for his good feelings towards IRF in general and him personally; stressed that the IRF and other Swedish space agencies are willing to cooperate with other countries, including Viet Nam, in the field of space research; and said that he will help the Embassy contact suitable Swedish partners to promote cooperation in this field./.
